While the path can be hiked in either direction, the vast majority of hikers start in Bomerano (a hamlet of Agerola) and walk toward Nocelle.The Path of the Gods (Il Sentiero degli Dei) is widely considered one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the world. Stretching between the clifftop towns of the Amalfi Coast, it offers a literal "god-like" perspective of the Mediterranean, the island of Capri, and the sheer vertical landscapes of the coastline.
